Manufacturing Industry

Manufacturing in the broadest sense has been part of the daily repair process at ERD since 1995. Originally, we had a large number of textile type repairs but in the 90’s we moved into other areas such as packaging products.

Motor Controls

Manufacturing in the broadest sense has been part of the daily repair process at ERD since 1995. Originally, we had a large number of textile type repairs but in the 90’s we moved into other areas such as packaging products.

Many of these manufacturing processes involve motor controls. We made the conscious decision to invest heavily early on in advance motor controls and because of this expertise, we are quite adept at any type of motor control repair.  We even perform some repairs on the actual motors.

Baumuller was a European OEM we helped support specifically for the advance servo controls and older legacy products. ERD has repaired hundreds of these drivers either from the OEM or from the end user.

ERD maintains a rapid repair strategy for these products as well as a three-year warranty.

Process PLC Controls

ERD also supports process controls, first in the drivers area with many Allen Bradley 1336 series motor controls but ultimately adding the process PLC controls found in many complex manufacturing pieces of equipment. This opened additional avenues of repair and even though many Allen Bradley products are now replaced with throw away PLC items we still have the ability to fully support the older Allen Bradley equipment.

Temperature & Pressure Controls

Manufacturing is also filled with specific controllers for both temperature and pressure which we have developed repair systems for over the years. These systems cover a wide array of makers such as Eurotherm or Fisher Porter. At ERD we have the necessary equipment to simulate most measurable items from temperature to current and pressure.

At ERD, you have a manufacturing facility that has seen and repaired most types of manufacturing equipment or something very similar which allows us to be the primary choice for supporting older end-of-life equipment.
