CPC4 Modules
ERD has developed a number of engine and equipment specific repairs for the mobile platform type of equipment.
Our most popular repair for this group is our refurbishment service for the CPC4 module used on the Freightliner Cascadia truck. When the modules became impossible to buy ERD developed a full testing and programming service that helped get several thousands of trucks back on the road. In the process of developing this system we moved into some other mobile equipment repairs and now have test systems for them as well.
ECU and Ignition Modules
Ford ECU and ignition modules are no longer supported by Ford, so we took up the challenge and developed a full test that simulates the engine the module believes it is plugged into. These modules are not for cars but are typically found in mobile boom lifts or airport tugs. Our repair and rebuild service has a very high success rate and is far more economical than replacing the engine or the entire system.
EV Type Vehicles
We not only work on gas and diesel engines but we also service electronic controls for EV type vehicles such as scissor lifts. We have created multiple test fixtures for the popular JLG and Genie lifts which are no longer supported by the manufacturer.
Transmission Controls
ERD has a repair and rebuild service for several transmission controls used on tracked platforms such as bulldozers. These controls run the hydraulic valves which are typically used on track type equipment. These units are also tested using one of our custom repair testers.
